
ALL INCLUSIVE ITINERARY:
Day 1: Your Adventure Begins

Meet your fellow travelers in Iquitos, the gateway to the Amazon in Northern Peru. Regular daily flights depart Lima and other cities.

We head out of Iquitos around 10 am and spend the day travelling to our base camp. A 2-hour bus ride through scenic countryside and small villages takes us to the village of Nauta.

From there we take a speed boat 150 km up the Amazon, Marañón and Ucayali Rivers, arriving at the village of Jenaro Herrera in the afternoon.

Our first night's lodging is about 4 km from the village center

We overnight in a cabin surrounded by jungle. Enjoy private rooms, basic amenities such as showers, toilets and solar power, and a delicious home cooked meal prepared by local cooks.
Day 2: Enter the Jungle

After fueling up with a hearty breakfast, we will embark aboard motorized canoes into a deep, isolate area of the Amazon Jungle. Experience the Amazonian waterways as we navigate rivers, lagoons, and small tributaries known only by the local Amazonian people.

We will arrive at our jungle camp in later afternoon. Our guides will construct a full camp including shelter, tents, and hammocks.

Our first night in the jungle, an optional canoe adventure awaits. Our guides will take us along the waterways to spot nocturnal animals and experience the nightlife
Day 3: Explore & Experience

Together with our guides, we will build a large raft using local materials and have a blast rafting along the stream (optional).

Canoe the area, walk the trails, scout and track wildlife including birds, monkeys, and reptiles

Night two camping in the jungle after a hearty, fire-cooked meal
Day 4: Back to Basecamp

After a fresh breakfast, we will break down the camp site and begin the canoe trip to our basecamp

Take time to relax, unwind, and reflect on the experience before settling in for our last meal in the jungle
Day 5: Onwards

In the early morning we will begin our journey back to Iquitos and share a final group lunch

For those who wish to extend their stay, there will be opportunities to explore and immerse ourselves in the rich local culture for a few more days
