ABOUT OUR GUIDES

Our local Amazonian guides have lived in the Northern Peruvian jungle their entire lives. Head Guide Fermin possesses deep, generational knowledge of Amazonian flora and fauna—skilled in tracking elusive animals and harvesting medicinal plants for the local shamans and healers. His sons, Melvin and Mae, have followed in his footsteps, learning and guiding alongside him. Matt, originally from Upstate New York, has spent the past 12 years in the Amazon working as a facilitator and guide at plant medicine retreats. Marc, based in Canada, has spent recent years immersed in the Amazon, learning its culture and the wonders of the jungle firsthand.
